UPDATE:
canceled! See you in June!
Come to Bryght on Thursday May 10th and learn about PHP, Remote XUL and jQuery.
From the
Vancouver PHP announcement:
QUOTE Description:
Ever been curious about Firefox technology, but afraid to get mired in rdf misery? XUL can also be used to create remote applications that look and behave like native XUL apps but use a web architecture on the back-end. This talk will walk through a case study in using remote XUL with PHP and the jQuery JavaScript library to build a simple database front-end. Remote XUL is a great way for web developers to experiment with the XUL toolkit without having to jump in with both feet.
