You wouldn't know that Dries is the founder and project lead of Drupal if you had hung out at the booth with him at OSCON. He's a gentle, humble and 100% egoless guy who quietly and effortlessly gets the Drupal community to get things done. And if you had attended his talks at OSCON and Drupal Con, you would have seen that his technical vision and community vision are spot on.
