Like SpikeSource (Kim Polese's recently unveiled venture which is getting lots of buzz) , Bryght is open source, we offer a stack of open source software and we integrate, maintain and upgrade this stack to give you the latest Drupal features and keep your content secure. Those who are "technical" have probably heard of the LAMP stack which stands for Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP. The Bryght stack is LAMP + Drupal or what I call LAMP+D.

Unlike SpikeSource who presumably will sell their stacks, Bryght doesn't sell software. We sell a HOSTED service using the LAMP+D stack not the actual software itself. Bryght is, to use a trendy phrase, "software as a service".
